By submitting this form you have confirmed that all affected customers have or will be provided with 48 hours written notice. You can download the Water Shut-off Notice here for your use. View Kitchener Utilities maps, including valves here.

Kitchener Utilities must witness all cut and caps and new connections (charges as per the Approved User Fee Schedule). Do not proceed without Kitchener Utilities staff and the Consultant Inspector.

Notes:

  • when calling into Kitchener Utilities Dispatch, 48 hours notice is required.
  • the first time slot is 8:30 a.m. and is on a first come, first served basis.
  • all hydrants out of service shall be called into Kitchener Utilities Dispatch by the Contractor, and hydrant rings shall be installed. Ask Dispatch for more rings if needed.
  • a Consultant Inspector must witness water service installation.
