Zoning Certificate

A Zoning Certificate is required for any new use or change in type of use of a property, in accordance with the regulations of the City of Kitchener Zoning By-law (referred to as Certificate of Occupancy).

By checking I Agree, from below, you declare that:

1. I have received permission from the property owner to submit this application.
2. I have personal knowledge of the particulars of this application.
3. All the information and statement given with this application, drawings and specifications are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
4. I know of no reason why this Zoning Certificate should not be granted in pursuance of this application.
5. I acknowledge that submission of this application does not guarantee approval and that no refunds will be issued if the application is withdrawn or refused.

I have read the above and make this solemn declaration conscientiously, believing it to be true, and acknowledge it is of the same force and effect as if made under oath and by virtue of the Canada Evidence Act

Notice of Collection

Personal information is being collected under the authority of s.11(1) of the Municipal Act and in accordance with s. 28(2) of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and will be used to complete the application for Zoning Certificate. This information will be shared with staff who require it for their work as part of their work at the City of Kitchener and will be stored on a server owned by a Third Party Service Provider (GHD Group) located in Canada. The personal information collected herein will be used only for the purposes relating to the program and will be protected in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the MFIPPA.
