About
Kidspark is Kitchener’s most popular children’s festival filled with a variety of unique activites, games, arts and crafts, storytime, live music, food trucks, and much more!
The goal of Kidspark is to create fun, free, and memorable interactive experiences. We aim to ensure that all children can participate and experience this festival by ensuring all activity exhibitor are welcoming and activities are kid-friendly.
Whether it is getting children to try a sport, make a craft or doing something STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) related, Kidspark’s goal is to inspire the next generation.
To support a free, accessible experience, the sale of goods and services is not permitted at Kidspark with exception to licensed food trucks and Kidspark market vendors selected by the City of Kitchener.
We kindly request that if you opt to participate as an activity exhibitor, your booth should be both free and kid-friendly.
Activity exhibitor and vendor selection process
In an effort to create a defined and transparent process for exhibitor selection, a selection process has been adopted for Kidspark. Past participation does not guarantee acceptance to this year’s event. The selection of all Kidspark applicants will be achieved through a one-stage committee selection process administered and facilitated by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener and Kidspark committee.
The process for exhibitor selection will involve the following:
- A defined criteria, as outlined below, will be used by the Selection Committee to select exhibitors.
- Successful applicants will be notified by email of their participation in Kidspark.
- All applicants will receive a letter confirming their participation in the 2025 Kidspark or a letter declining their application for this year.
The deadline for exhibitor proposals is Friday, July 4, 2025.
Successful applicants can expect to be notified of their selection by the second week of July.
