Are there any outstanding work orders on the subject property?
 
Is the subject property registered under the Ontario Heritage Act?
 
Have you had a pre-application conversation with city staff to discuss your property?
 
Do you agree to allow city staff to share your facade concept drawing and/or sign design with the Downtown Kitchener Business Improvement Area (BIA)?
 

Financing (up to 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $10,000)

Is this property or project receiving funding from any other government source?
 

Documents:

The following documents are necessary for processing this application:

  1. A minimum of two (2) written estimates from a qualified architect or contractor;
  2. Conceptual elevation plan identifying dimensions, materials and colours of the proposed work;
  3. A proposed sign plan, if applicable, identifying dimensions, materials and colour; and
  4. If applicable, Tenant must provide written authorization from the registered property owner.
  5. Upload pictures of current state of the proposed area to be renovated. 

Your application will not be processed without these documents included.
