Recognition of Nominees:

All nominees are recognized during Seniors Month in June as part of the Senior of the Year Award program. In the past, recognition has taken place in the form of a public event at City Hall, or through individual presentations of certificates and small gifts to nominees outside at their home during Covid restrictions. 2021 featured a virtual Zoom celebration event hosted by Mayor Vrbanovic. Plans are already in the works for 2022 recognition activities! All nominees and nominators will receive regular updates from staff regarding recognition activities as they become available.
