Neighbours Day - Music Ambassador application

In celebration of Neighbours Day, the City of Kitchener will host a community-wide porch party across the city on Saturday, June 21, 2025. We are looking for residents that would be interested in volunteering their porch, driveway, or front yard to be a Music Ambassador and host a musician for a one-hour community performance for you and other residents on your street to enjoy!

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

Performance Times: One-hour performances held at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. OR 5 p.m.

Your role as a Music Ambassador

  • Share the timing of the porch/driveway/front yard performance with your neighbours and post lawn signs
  • If desired, work with your neighbours to create an afternoon of community fun by adding extra elements to enhance the event
  • Provide a power source for the musician's equipment
  • Provide the musician with water and washroom use if needed during their performance
  • Welcome your neighbours for a good time together!
