Kitchener Fire Camp FFIT Application

The application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Kitchener Fire Camp FFIT (Female Firefighter in Training) has a limited number of spaces available. Camp FFIT will run Tuesday June 23 – Friday June 26 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. All applicants who are accepted into the camp must be able to attend all four days of camp. All applicants will be contacted via email by May 1, 2026. To either confirm entry into the program or notify applicant of a placement on a waiting list. Upon acceptance, participants will be emailed an emergency contact form, a waiver of liability and photo release form to complete.

The personal information is collected in accordance with s. 28(2) of Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and will be used by the City of Kitchener for the purposes of administration, planning and management of admission and participation in Kitchener Fire Camp FFIT. Personal information is being collected under the authority of s. 28(2) of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and will be used for the purpose of administration, planning, and management of admission and participation in Kitchener Fire Camp Fitt. This information will be shared with staff who require it for their work as part of Kitchener Fire Camp Fitt and will be stored on a server owned by a Third Party Service Provider (eSolutions Group) located in Canada. The personal information collected herein will be used only for the purposes relating to the program and will be protected in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the MFIPPA.
