Licensing appointment request
With the ongoing closure of city administrative facilities, it is preferred that business consultations and submission of applications and renewals are primarily conducted via mail, phone, and email. Extenuating circumstances will be considered if you require a scheduled time for a phone call or in-person appointment. This practice is to allow a way to fulfill applications safely.
Currently, appointments are being booked for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Spaces on these dates are limited, however, we are committed to ensuring that you receive the required resources to assist you in obtaining the information you need.
All requests for an appointment will be reviewed however this does not guarantee an appointment. You will be contacted by staff to confirm your appointment date and time once your request has been reviewed and meets the eligibility criteria (see below).
Please note that we are also happy to serve you via phone or email for any questions or business consultations. If you are looking to just apply, you can mail it in with a cheque or money order, or you can drop it off at the Young Street door dropbox (outside of City Hall doors).

Please complete the form below to request an appointment. Note that our standard processing time for business licencing is 2-3 weeks.
Your request for an appointment will be reviewed by staff and eligible applicants will receive a confirmation email from Licensing Services with:
- your appointment date and time
- instructions with the day of your appointment
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel the appointment.
If your health status changes after submitting the form and before your confirmed appointment, please notify us so that we can reschedule.
NOTE: If you only want to submit your application and payment, please send it in the mail or drop it off at Kitchener City Hall at the drop-box located at the Young Street entrance
